How long is The Creator Current?
It's a year-long mentorship.
How does applying to The Creator Current work?
You fill out an application. If your application is approved, you’ll be prompted to book a 30-minute enrollment call with our team. We’ll get you started on that call.
Who can join?
The Creator Current is a community for women. You need to be 18 or older to enroll.
Why do you cap enrollment at 20 students a month?
So the community stays small and every woman gets real support. We take 20 students a month, and we have 38 spots left for 2026. Doors close December 1 and stay closed until 2027, when the price goes up. Once the spots are taken, you can join the waitlist.
How do I know this is legit?
Fair question. You can read our reviews, follow along on TikTok and Instagram, and talk to our team on an enrollment call before you fully decide. There are many TikTok accounts pretending to be me, so if you have questions, please message @famenotrequired on Instagram. That’s the best way to get in touch.
How do I know the brands are real?
The brands in our job listings are vetted by our leadership team before they go up, and you get direct contact with hiring managers. You'll also learn how to read a deal before you sign it.
Do I have to be confident on camera?
You don't have to be perfect. Confidence is something you build, so we make it a practice. You film practice videos, you get feedback from our team, and the women in the community cheer you on while you get better.
How soon do I get access?
As soon as you're approved and enrolled, you get access to the modules, and the community chat opens.
Do I need followers or experience?
No. Canvas UGC runs on a brand's account, so you don't need a following, and you don't need to have done this before. The women in the community are at every stage of life, from college students to moms of several kids.
How is this different from The Canvas UGC Method?
The Method is the gym membership. It's a self-paced course, and you do the work on your own. The Creator Current is the personal trainer. You get portfolio feedback, weekly coaching calls, a community of women, job listings from vetted brands, and Mackenzie AI. The Method is included when you join.
What's the time commitment?
The modules are self-paced, and most women finish them in two weeks. Some take a month, some a week, depending on their schedule. Once you're working with brands, expect about two hours a day to start, depending on the campaigns. Some days will be less and some more. The weekly calls and optional accountability groups are there to keep you moving.
What are the weekly calls like?
They're about an hour, on Wednesday evenings, and led by our graduate coach. We brainstorm, hear from guest speakers from brands and platforms, and break into small rooms to network. Every call is recorded.
Do I get the past weekly calls?
Yes. Past and future calls are all yours.
What is Mackenzie AI?
An AI tool built just for Canvas UGC and trained on our lessons and call recordings. Use it to brainstorm hooks, break down a brand's brief, and get feedback on your hooks and thumbnails.
Will I get clients?
We teach you where to look and how to pitch. Once you finish the modules and get feedback on your portfolio, you graduate into the Inner Circle and unlock job listings from brands our leadership team has vetted. We can't promise clients or income, because your results depend on the work you put in.
How quickly can I start earning?
Everyone moves at their own pace, but it can happen fast. We just had a student make $6,000 from a single video, three weeks after graduating. That’s one student’s result, not a promise. Results are not guaranteed, and they depend on the work you put in.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. When you enroll you can pay in full, or split it with Afterpay or Klarna. The price is the same $2,000 either way. Approval is up to Afterpay or Klarna, and your card needs to work with them.
